OPTI 6101 - Mathematical Methods of Optical Science and Engineering Credit Hours: (3)
A comprehensive look at those mathematical techniques important to the understanding of optical phenomena. Includes vector algebra and calculus, matrix theory, Fourier series and transforms, complex analysis, solution of boundary value problems in partial differential equations, and special functions.
