ELED 3120 - The Elementary School Child Credit Hours: (3)
Child development theories and research findings, conceptual relationships between education and developmental paradigms, pathways of individual student development, child-centered and other types of educational reforms, the concept of developmental “needs” and the roles and responsibilities of school staff for meeting children’s developmental needs.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education. Hours of Lecture and/or Lab per week: Includes approximately 10 hours of field activities.
