GEOG 5108 - Sport, Place and Development Examines sport and its impact on the landscape of cities and communities. Implications of sport are examined in terms of urban use, urban social structure, markets, franchise movement and expansion, urban politics, its role in defining sense of place, and its impact on the development of communities and regions.
