MEGR 7118 - Thermal Environmental Engineering


Application of the thermodynamic and heat transfer principles to the analysis of thermal environmental systems. Topics include: thermodynamic properties of moist air, psychometric charts, transfer processes, heating and cooling of moist air coils, physiological effects of thermal environments, food processing and storage. Credit will not be awarded for MEGR 7118 where credit has been awarded for MEGR 8118 .

Prerequisite(s): MEGR 3116 or equivalent.
