MATH 5161 - Number Theory A study of the elements of classical number theory including divisibility, congruences, diophantine equations, prime numbers and their distribution, quadratic reciprocity, number-theoretic functions, and famous unsolved problems. Not approved for the M.A. in mathematics degree.
