SPED 4475 - Student Teaching/Seminar: Special Education K-12: General Curriculum


Student teaching is a planned sequence of experiences in the student’s area of specialization conducted in an approved school setting under the supervision and coordination of a university supervisor and a clinical educator. During student teaching, the student must demonstrate the competencies identified for their specific teaching field in an appropriate grade level setting. The student is assigned 15 weeks in a school setting. Includes seminars.

Restriction(s): Admission to Teacher Education; admission to Special Education Program; application to Student Teaching; completion of electronic portfolio Evidence 2 and Evidence 3.
