ECGR 4290 - Science and Technology of Photovoltaics


Review of semiconductor properties; junctions and operating principles of solar cells; efficiency limits and losses in solar cells; solar cells and sunlight; fabrication of solar cell and modules; design of high efficiency silicon solar cells; heterojunction, thin film, and other promising solar cells; and photovoltaic systems and applications.
