CEGR 6252 - Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering


Review of the dynamics of single and multi-degree of freedom systems. Earthquake mechanism, distribution, magnitude, intensity, ground shaking, site effects, prediction, and response spectra. Soil liquefaction; aseismic design of foundations; seismic codes; and machine foundation design.
