CSLG 8346 - Applied Multicultural Counseling The impact of oppression on the daily lives of marginalized groups. Students conduct extensive field-based investigations into various cultures in order to gain mastery-level knowledge of the practical day-to-day experiences especially as they involve accessing mental health services. Special focus on counseling applications that are appropriate within and between cultures. Learning to utilize systems interventions and the mastering the skills of consultation are key components of this course.
