MPAD 6292 - Disaster Management Emergency managers must be prepared to face a wide variety of natural, technological and public health disasters in their communities. Having a good understanding of a potential disaster’s unique characteristics and dynamics can help an emergency manager better prepare for the worst-case scenario. Focuses on a series of natural and weather-related disasters, technological or man-made disasters and public health disasters.
