HLTH 8270 - Applied Biostatistics: Regression To understand and apply concepts and principles of regression-based statistical methods, including linear regression, logistic regression, count regression, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis to health related studies. Students use statistical software for computation and develop skills for selecting appropriate methods for data analysis and interpreting the results of health-related studies in scientific and nontechnical language.
Credit Hours: (3) Restriction(s): Graduate level Introduction to Biostatistics or approved Statistics course; basic knowledge of statistical software; or permission of instructor.
