MEGR 8214 - Turbulent Shear Flows Most of the flows of engineering importance are turbulent flows. This course provides students with the insight required to analyze, investigate, and explain turbulent fluid flows. Topics include: dimensional analysis, the Reynolds equations, elements of the kinetic theory of gases, estimates of the Reynolds Stress, dynamics of turbulence, boundary free shear flows, and wall-bounded shear flows.
