NUNP 6251 - Advanced Acute and Preventive Care of Adults
Builds on advanced assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmocology to provide the advanced practice nurse with the framework to manage adult preventive care for chronic illnesses in acute ambulatory settings. Emphasis is placed on preventive care in adults with common recurring acute and chronic conditions. Models of health promotion, disease prevention, and health education is used in assessing, diagnosing, and planning care.
