MDSK 6355 - Advanced Methods of Teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE)


A variety of topics are addressed in order to prepare experienced Career and Technical Education teachers to become leaders in the field by developing as critical thinkers, researchers in the curriculum area, as well as instructional and program leaders. Topics include: theories of CTE acquisition, the history and trends of CTE instructional methods, curriculum design, research-based practices, community partnerships, and mentoring of beginning teachers.
