Survey of the history of illustration and problems in a wide range of media with emphasis on the significant precedents and individuals responsible for shaping the field. Studio projects, demonstrations, and critiques contribute to visual literacy.
Prerequisite(s): Art major; ARTB 1203 with grade of C or above.
Pre- or Corequisite(s): ARTB 1206 .
Hours of Lecture and/or Lab per week: Six contact hours.
