Overview of general avian biology, including taxonomy and anatomy, but concentrating on behavior, ecology and conservation of birds. Focus on birds of the southeastern U.S.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 3144 with grade of C or above or permission of department.
Hours of Lecture and/or Lab per week: Three lecture hours and one laboratory period of three hours per week.
