Relationship between victims of crime and the criminal justice system. Specific topics include: an analysis of the characteristics of crime victims, victim reporting and non-reporting patterns, treatment of victims by the various segments of the criminal justice system, victim assistance programs, and the issue of compensation and/or restitution for victims of crime.
Prerequisite(s): Criminal Justice major or minor; and Junior standing. Other Requirements Satisfied: General Education - Oral Communication (O)
