Teaching strategies and materials for social studies in grades K-6 with emphasis on using social science content to develop effective social studies instructional plans for elementary school children.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education.
Hours of Lecture and/or Lab per week: Includes 10 hours of field experiences in a classroom setting.
