GEOL 5165 - Aqueous Geochemistry Credit Hours: (4)
Interaction of rocks, minerals, and gases with water under natural conditions, including an overview of the compositions of natural waters from a variety of environmental and geologic settings emphasizing a rigorous thermodynamic approach to understanding water-rock interactions. Three hours of lecture, three hours of lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1251, CHEM 1252, and GEOL 3115; or permission of instructor.
