HSRD 8103 - Large Data Sets and Health Services Research
Credit Hours: (3)
Health quality and outcomes issues addressed through secondary data analysis using large, public data sets will be examined. Issues related to secondary analysis and drawing items from multiple data sets will be discussed. Analytical techniques such as adjustments for missing data, transformations of data, and risk adjustment is applied using public data sets.
Prerequisite(s): HSRD 8102 ; HSRD 8111 or STAT 8111 ; and enrollment in the Ph.D. in Health Services Research program or permission of the instructor.
