The Graduate Certificate in Public Health Core Concepts (PHCC) contributes to the preparation of community and public health practitioners entering the field from related disciplines and serves as a stepping-stone to further graduate training in public health. The certificate is also available to students who wish to complement an existing degree in a health profession (e.g., nursing or social work).

Certificate Requirements
The program leading to a Graduate Certificate in Public Health Core Concepts requires a minimum of 15 credit hours of graduate credit including four core courses and a restricted elective course. Students should plan their program of study in consultation with their assigned academic advisor and/or the Graduate Program Director.
